Cambrian House Announces Partnership with Mashery at Web 2.0 Expo

Open API Enables Developer Community to Earn Shares in Cambrian House


Web 2.0 Expo, San Francisco, CA -Cambrian House today announced a partnership with Mashery that will enable developers to access Cambrian House's API, develop mashup applications and, in turn, become owners in Cambrian House. The partnership will help Cambrian House track developer activity and reward them with shares accordingly.

Cambrian House also announced today that they are the first Web 2.0 company to share equity to their members. Members earn shares in the company simply by being engaged.

For developers, the Cambrian House/ Mashery partnership means the plumbing has been laid for creative people from all over to join the community, earn a share of equity for joining, then start working on a platform where they'll earn even more shares.

Cambrian House's crowdsourcing model is based on the belief in the wisdom and participation of crowds. "By providing people with a platform to think and create, members will inevitably build things you and I would never have thought of," said Michael J. Sikorsky, Cambrian House CEO.
