Cambrian House Inc. is blasting Diet Coke into space together with the online community
CALGARY, AB (August 2, 2006) – Cambrian House Inc., a Calgary based software company announced today the launch of their new "Diet Coke to Space" campaign. The company is targeting to build the world's largest geyser of Diet Coke and Mentos, with the number of Mentos equaling the number of members in their community. The new crowdsourced community, which launched their beta website just over a month ago, will launch the massive geyser if they sign up a minimum of 25,001 members by their deadline of September 30th.
"The more people who join our community the more Mentos and Diet Coke we dump in," says Michael J. Sikorsky, CEO of Cambrian House. "We need a minimum of 25,001 members by the end of August for this to happen but we're striving for much more then that."
Sikorsky concludes by explaining, "Cambrian House is a unique software community in that anyone can join and get paid for contributing. We are not just targeting developers; we are looking for anyone who wants to be part of commercializing software. Whether you are a professional or an amateur designer, copywriter, marketer, or developer we have something for you."
If the Mentos and Diet Coke operation is a success it will be submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records under a website address, which will post all member names and recognize them as contributors.
The new crowdsourcing community is free to join and can be accessed via their website: http://www.cambrianhouse.com/.
