There is nothing constant but change. (Heraclitus)
Born in Hungary; moved to the United States; became a citizen, and graduated from Pace University, New York in 1989. Became interested in information technology while working on hypertext and other software projects. Now develop and produce internet tv shows, web video ads, websites and blogs; music, audio and multimedia products, albums, CDs, and DVDs; literary and technical books and manuals in print, as ebooks, and online through my e-publishing company, Newmedia Publishing. As an adjunct professor, I taught graduate computer courses at my alma mater, Pace U., where I also authored and published articles on Knowledge Science. While there is a website/blog address, kingsleyreport.com for my indulgence, I just have no time to develop it now...a familiar but lame excuse, no question about it. In short, I'm one of those change agents on the loose....

Clifflyon - thank you for the tip!
ManyOne.net seems to be a great solution for text and image content portals.
CarbonTicker will have a lot of pages with custom scripts to calculate running totals of carbon added to the biosphere (hopefully one day removed from it) as well as carbon footprints for individual members and member companies. It will also have a clean/green product shop.
While at this point it doesn't look like ManyOne.net can accommodate any customization, I'll keep an eye on it for possible use in the future.
You could certainly build this portal for free at on the ManyOne beta (beta.manyone.net). Pax Natura (Jane Goodall et. al.) is one of their inaugural network partners.
Pax Natura is the most reputable retailer of carbon offsets.
Hi Steve,
I like the idea, if you are involved, we can discuss handling my account. Bon Courage.
Would I have interest in spearheading CarbonTicker.com? No I can't myself, there's already a plethora of stuff I'm neglecting, so I can't touch more. I'd post the request in forums or bazaar. If you can't find someone keen enough on the project, then you can document it and post it on a contracting site but that will cost real money. Please let me know any activity you take on this and we'll reflect that on IdeaWarz to help give you exposure... (for example we know you're looking for someone to spearhead it, but give us a forum post or bazaar entry to direct people to).
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the offer to assist in your Carbonticker.com venture. At this time, I wouldn't be the best choice to lead/oversee the development of your site. Although I have had a fairly slow period for the past two months or so, I too, am finding myself at the start of a very busy phase.
I might recommend micco as a potential candidate, he/she seems to have some other things on the go and may be better suited at this time.
Good luck and all the best,
PJ

thoughts?
Sorry, I don't understand - what is this in reference to?
That is one way to look at it....all the brands are already there so you dont have to apply...you can use our portals...and share in the revenue....in addition we provide life services....our french clients want to pay a monthly premium...like they do for cable....that just seems way out to me....however, we do have simple membership....if you use the system free of charge...thats fine...I get all the commission.....if you pay a few bucks...you get to share in the commission...either way its good business.
