I married my child hood sweetheart that I meet when I was 4 years old. Although we did not start dating until I was almost 20 (probably a good thing), we got pregnant quickly and married within the year of dating. We knew each other very well and so did our families, after all my brother was his bestfriend. I am a mother of two children an 8 yr old boy and a 5 yr old girl (5 on Apr 9th).. I was BLESSED to even be able to have them at all because i suffer from Endometriosis. I have suffered from Endo. for about 12 yrs now and I have had a total of 5 surgerys in the last 4 1/2yrs because of it. I was undiagnosed until 4 1/2 yrs ago and suffered while I was told that it was all in my head. I just recently in December of 06 had a full Hysterectomy at 28 yrs old in the hopes that SOME of my pain would diminish and I could lead a somewhat normal life. So far it has helped to a point, but I am still unable to do MANY things that i wish, want, and should be able to do. Any thing physical is a true challenge (yes I mean ANYTHING). My husband and I are not affraid to share our personnal life beause it is the only way to teach other people about this "Silent Disease". As a sufferer of Endo. I am ALWAYS on Kadian ( A time released Morphine), Percocet, and antidepressents to name a few. The kadian alone costs $300 a month with no insurance. I have been in the Hotel and Nurse Registry Marking business for the past 2 years. But I have not been workin gfor over a year due to illness.
