10 years! and who says nicknames abet anonymity... good form!
Hello,
Well basically I've had this online nickname for years now, probably since I started using the internet 10 years ago. I wanted something that sounded cool and basically there was this really cool album I was listening to at the time by a group called Leftfield called Leftism. So I liked the sound of this and because I was left handed I thought up Ninja Leftist (the ninja bit was to just sound cool, I was 13 at the time and going on online first person shooters like Quake). I didn't actually realise what Leftist meant, in terms of political alignment until I was a bit older. I did read a lot about Che Guevara and Marxism in university, but I'm not a communist or left wing politically, neither am I a ninja (unfortunately). It feels quite strange explaining it after all these years, it's just a name I've stuck with.
