Brill has 12 years of application development under his belt and extensive experience writing software at startups and established companies. Brill is also the technical person in Pappin Industries, his own side-business, which writes and maintains software and develops hardware on a contractual basis for other small companies and is the founder of The Greenfields Group which is a small collection of people working cooperatively to build a new company. In his early years Brill was educated in Graphic Arts and Pre-Press, an industry in which he worked in for three years before switching to a software development career path. He still enjoys exploring new technologies and regularly participates in trying to make good open source projects better.
