I have been building successful and highly innovative technology-empowered companies since 1994. In fact, one of my first projects was a website for Pope John Paul II in early 1995. For a decade prior to that I was a political media strategist working on hundreds of campaigns across the country. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at eHobbies, I raised $30 million in venture capital while growing the business to 175 employees. I'm proud to say that after a mere eight months in business the company was selected as one of the "Top 10 Best Companies to Work For" by Interactive Week magazine. During that same time the company's retail sales grew 800% -- topping out at nearly $2.5 million a month. In 2001 I began consulting to investors, management, foundations, philanthropies and community organizations. In October 2003 I was named to an eight-month stint as Chief Operating Officer at LA-based nonprofit Access|Middle East and in January 2005 I joined my buddy, Howard Brown, as Chief Operating Officer at PlanitJewish.com. Born in Kansas City, I graduated with honors from the American University with degrees in Political Science and International Studies. My family and I live in Santa Monica, CA where we are all active in helping Nashuva, our faith-based community, grow and prosper.
