Rich has been working in the human performance and organization development field for over 20 years. After learning about instructional design and change management at Arthur Andersen/Accenture, Rich joined Square D Company as a TQM Education manager. There he helped develop and implement their TQM programs and processes and designed and delivered a three-part leadership series for middle managers. Taking a call from some Andersen alumni working at Baxter Healthcare, Rich decided to join them and help roll out a new leadership curriculum. While at Baxter he worked with many team’s/departments on developing high performance work systems. As an external consultant, Rich enjoys challenging leaders and teams to focus on a few simple guidelines and building trust as the way to grow and improve the business. Based on the belief that teams and leaders learn quickest by doing vs. watching and listening, he specializes in customizing various accelerated and experiential learning tools to address a client's development needs. His clients value the engaging way he works with their people whether leading a leadership workshop, working with a specific team or coaching leaders. Rich specializes in tools and processes that tap the wisdom of the group. Rich received his B.A. in Education from College of New Jersey, his M.A. in Training and Development for Business from Ohio State University, and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame’s College of Business. He co-authored The Experience-Based Learning Guide: Consulting Tools and Exercises that Facilitate team Performance and Learning Through Action. He is also certified in Rummler-Brache process mapping methodology, MBTI, TMI and the Hermann Brain Dominance Index..
