I am 31 years old, married for almost 8 years, and have three children - Isaiah (4), Ellie (2), Katie (1). I have been working in the IT industry for 12 years and I am currently a Knowledge Management Architect (sounds better than it is) for Hewitt Associates - in Lincolnshire (Chicago-land area). I have a strong interest in startups and entrepreneurial ideas but lack the resources to jump off the cliff and work on one full-time. I have been working on my bachelors for 13 years (I was diagnosed with Adult Attention Deficit Disorder 2 years ago) and after I was put on Ritalin my life changed. I am almost done with school and switched my major from IS (I completed all IS courses at Trinity International University 10 years ago) to Psychology, since I didn"t want to retake all of the courses. I am 7 classes shy of my bachelors in psychology from Elmhurst College. I attended the Startup School conference at Harvard last October (Paul Graham). I was the fourth employee hired at www.opinionlab.com (a dot com that made it through "2000). I would love to not be financially strapped and work on my ideas full time (and I would like to lose weight...both are pipe dreams). I am very interested in Open Source technologies and I love Apple. I am scheduled to take the CISSP exam at the end of this month. Oh yeah, I have a great dane too. I also love Chicago sports.
