    Hi John,

Sorry I couldn't catch up with you earlier. I just put a post in the Bazaar:

    http://www.cambrianhouse.com/bazaar/view/200/

at Cambrian House's suggestion. I do intend to take you up on your kind offer to discuss handling your account, once I have a better handle on my work.

    Thanks again for the encouragement!

If JumpoDing can put a really functional "Crowdsourcing Web Ring" together for CarbonTicker.com, based on my offer, it could make it possible for me to work on this project, as it would require only limited input from me during the planning, design, and implementation phase, that I could manage.

    Thanks for the encouragement!

    To CharonV:
    1. At this point 0%. I'd like to keep it that way as long as I can. If the website becomes popular I know there will have to be a way to pay for the hosting, but taking a percentage of the contributions will be a last resort. I'd probably try to place ads, solicit donations, or any other way to generate income first.

    2. The purchases are tracked by a third party, and reports are sent to me. Payment is up to the merchants, but we can always check to see if merchants pay based on the reports and add/remove them from the program based on their record.

    3. If they don't pay, and there's no good reason for not paying, I will have to remove them from the list of participating merchants.

    4. I guess there's really no way to make sure I am not pocketing the money myself. But I will try perhaps get testimonials from benefitting charities that they have received the money. If all goes well, I'll probably consider getting seals from the BBB or something like that.

Keep in mind the partnerships I have with merchants are made possible by affiliate marketing networks such as Commission Junction, Linkshare, and Doubleclick Performics. These networks usually only take reputable companies.

    Hello,

I thank you kindly for your comment on my idea and for the insight you’ve provided me with in regards to a similar product. I should like to perhaps request more information, if you are at liberty to provide it, on the software developed at that time and of the hospitals for research sake.

At this present time, I’ve three new projects under my direction in addition to my university studies and so this project will be factored into my schedule based on the degree of interests for its development. I am a firm believer in finishing what I start in good time and quality, and so if this is something of serious interest, please do let me know so that I might see to it to begin work on a formal proposal for review.

    Regards,
    MAH

    Hi - Re CarbonTicker.com

We'd like to turn CarbonTicker.com into a business but need a hard-nosed review of its viability. I developed a one-page spreadsheet projection as a starting point, that could be used together with the "fleshed-out" idea as an executive summary.

    Please advise:

    1. Would that be sufficient for your analysis?
    2. If yes, how can I send the spreadsheet to you?
    3. Rich2809 also expressed interest in participating. Shall I request a review from him too?

Thank you for your help in advance!

OK i'm sorry if it isn't totally clear,

so what the idea is, is theres a giant picture of the world on the front page of the website and this picture of the world. Its the individual countries of the world that are for sale for advertisement space. When a country has been bought, the company that bought it sends a logo in that is placed over the country and they're website is hyperlinked so if anybody clicks on the country it directs them to their website. However after 3 days other companies are able to out-bid the original buyer, then the whole process starts again with them sending in their logo and web-link.

It does not have anything to do with seeking items you need, neither is it like yahoo, google pay per clic.

Its just basically a map that has the countries in it for sale.

I hope this has cleared up some information for you,

please if you have any more questions just ask.

    have a nice day :)
