Cambrianhouse has inspired me to become more professional and study a whole lot of new things, so now I am a lot more skilled and I think I may have landed a killer job at Electronic Arts, probably thanks to the mention of Gwabs

The Elevator Pitch

For the casual gamer who is tired of playing Bejeweled the Gwabs game is a casual desktop-to-desktop fighter that turns you desktop into a battle ground. Unlike any game on the market today our product allows you to challenge and wager anyone online.

The Idea

Gwabs Desktop Fighter is held in trust by Melissa.
Original Ideas submitted by _Matt_ and Cory_Ross.
Gwabs Desktop Fighter is a casual Desktop-to-Desktop fighting game. It's the only game that allows you to kill your opponents with icons, folders and your taskbar. An instant messaging component connects you to other players worldwide on a peer to peer network. There are three rounds in each match with three different fighting modes to choose from: a fun match (no stakes), a wager match (bet your gwablets), or a death match (pinks slips for your character). Gwablets are used to resurrect dead characters, purchase new ones, weapons, and for entry into feeding tournaments. Customize your characters color and battle it out. Climb to the top of the world wide leader board to become the ultimate feeder.

I thought of this idea when I was...

The two concepts submitted by _Matt_ and Cory_Ross were combined and along with a few twists and turns made by Cambrian House. Gwabs was born.

This is fantastic. I'm sitting in an airport now, wishing I was playing gwabs. What do you need to make it happen?

It is projected to come out sometime later this year, and if you want to help you can preorder the game like I did and give the developers some money to make this game a reality ASAP (plus you get a pimp cane for you gwab and access to the beta when it is released). ^.^

I really like this idea also. It would be really cool if your desktop creature could just live there even when you were not fighting. The creature may do random things to make you laugh, or you could have a few functions like feeding it, maybe add a leveling feature as well to build your creature and keep users interested.

I love this idea Only because it has the ability to be one of the best and most sold PC games YET! So Hopefully we'll be able to BUY it SOON! and I hope it's soon I'm already waiting for Gears of War 2 to come out, but if this game came out first i'd buy it in an instance!!

Remember one thing though: Online multiplayer sellz!

Hey, This is cool! Let me know when it's being released! I have also a Team of Programmers and Developers in Singapore. We also have some tie-ups with Codemasters for outsourced work.
