The Idea

Using REST (REpresentational State Transfer) is becoming a widely accepted way of building flexible web service APIs. Respite provides a client/server solution that makes building RESTful APIs easy and fun!

I thought of this idea when I was...

...considering what a pain it is to start building a RESTful API from scratch.

How would you make money with this?

Many platforms nowadays are being released for free, and if you don't release this for free, someone will follow who will. I couldn't see advertising bringing in too much revenue for this, donations may help. What did you have in mind?

Dunno. I'm not actually too concerned with making money from it. Mainly I wanted to just put it on CH because I already have the code written and I think CH themselves might be able to make use of it one day. Donations would be fine, too.

Overall, though, I see this more as an "infrastructure project" where other projects on CH might one day be able to import this one for a share of RPs.

Anymore details?

I'mworking a particularly hard to scale system at the moment, changing from around 20 to 200 data pages. How would this help me?
