The Idea

Hiya, Wouldn't it be cool if you could resize your digital photographs without having to load PhotoShop, open the image, resize the image and re-save it? What if all you had to do was right click an image file select a pre-defined image size from a list of useful and optimized file sizes (eg 800x600), click it and the file is automatically resized, optimized and saved as a copy (filename_800x600.jpg), leaving the original in full high-res glory. Everyone with a digital camera would love this app! Think of the positive effects it would have on bandwidth use, download time, issues such as max file size for email attachments would be a thing of the past.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I was inspired by the teadiousness of having to optimise the images i create when i send them to friends via email or upload them to the web.

You can do this in photoshop allready. Just make an action and run it on a batch of files.
