A prince who is not himself wise cannot be wisely advised: good advice depends on the shrewdness of the prince who seeks it.Niccolo Machiavelli

According to the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, 322 million people visited approximately 600 amusement parks in the United States. Because of the size of many of the parks and the sheer number of people who go to them, the possibility of losing a child is real. SOOOOOOOOO here is the idea To know where your kids are in a large area at all times. This would be similar to GPS on cars, or a tracking device. Your children will be equiped with a small chip, pin etc. that is directly fed to the cell phone of the parent. Some software and hardware needs but the idea might fly!
I was at the water park with my son, I could not see him, although I knew he was ok, I still thought that it would be cool to see him on a small map on my cell phone. His postition would be on a grid that I could see on the cell phone.
Great idea and in thinking how it would be usable elsewhere, perhaps an RFID chip in a disposable park/event bracelet on each person with monitors around the part/venue so you could key in ID number of anyone in your party/children. For revenue, bracelets and monitors can be marketed/leased to parks/events. possibly leave short message on monitor to meet at a specified location in the park/event.
Yes I would like to see this for other reasons(I don't have any kids). But I would be interested in pulling GPS coordinates from a GPS unit. This would be cool and it could really help a lot of busy parents keep track of their kids. And I like the idea of leasing or selling to parks.
