The Idea

My idea is to create a software for community website owners. Since the websites already have all of the users information on there databases no member would ever have to sign up for this. This is how it works: Imagine that you are on Myspace or your favorite community website, you know those ads that you always have to look at? I bet you hate them. Well now you will wont becuase the software would target ad's to you personally. For instance if you are a male your not going ot get any tampax ads etc. The ad will say your name , know your interests and all that good stuff! Example: " Jhordan have you seen our new biomass pills , we know you love to workout and these pills can help you gain muscle in no time, we can even ship them free to your house on "Smith St." You should also let your girlfriend (her name) know that we have some great womans pills too!"

I thought of this idea when I was...

I really dislike adverts. They really bother me , but if it was stuff I was interested in I might actually click the add. Even if it was something stupid like this: "your computer is running slow, click here to get a free..." ..................................OR........................................ "Jhordan your desktop is getting old! you have had the Dell for 3 years now, click here to see what upgrades are compatible with your system." Of course I would most likely click the add that was personalized towards me.

I'm not sure people would go for this as people would be concerned about the privacy of their information - especially things like addresses and friends.

On the other hand, this is a win-win idea: The advertisers win because they are exposed to a market that they are likely to convert and the audience wins (but their wallet loses) because they see ads that they're interested in.

Still you get -1 from me. Sorry.

Interesting idea, but what about when I let my mom check her hotmail on my computer, and she gets bombarded with "Hello cyberdong, we know you love porn, so..."?

Well the system would only know what you put into the main DB so just dont say you like porn if it concerns you.

Oh and if your mom did check her hotmail, the system would automatically change to her settig or the default settings
