The Idea

An webapp that allows you to create and send slideshows of your favourite photos online. Spinning off from the success of sites like flickr this app allows you to put a slideshow together with transitions, text and graphics effects that you can share with friends and family - or in a business scenario use it to promote your website. Think Flash animations without the need for technical expertise or great expense to the end user.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I have done some slideshow presentations on DVD with transitions and titles and thought how cool it would be to do something similar online with my flickr photos.

I know that there are products out there to do this, and I have used some of them.

The essence of this idea is to make it SIMPLE for people to do it online with photos they have already uploaded. The other differentiator is that there is a commercial aspect to it - help people to roll their own ad for their web-based businesses.

As with many ideas, it is the implementation of this one that will differentiate it.
