The next frontier is to tap the quiet genius that exists outside organizations to attract innovations from people who are prepared to work with a company, even if they don't work for it.New York Times, Mar 2006
Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

Windows Media Center Edition (MCE) is fast gaining popularity. One feature of it enables you to use your computer to digitally record TV shows to your hard drive for later viewing. (Like TiVO) The idea is to integrate the TV listings with the ability to schedule recordings of your favourite TV shows. This way you can set up a recording while away from your Media Center PC from any browser. (When you're on holiday or away on business, or even just at work.) Two parts to the application - the BROWSER shows you the TV listings for your area, allowing you to search for the shows you want to see and select the ones you want to record. The SCHEDULER installed on your MCE PC receives the instructions from the web site and queues up the shows to be recorded.
Thinking about how to make my Media Center PC more accessible and useful. Sometimes I'm talking about a TV show at work and I realize I'm going to miss it because I won't get home in time to hit the record button on my VCR!
