The Idea

A wiki/blog anti-spam filter service. Wiki/blog operators will make a minor modification to their wiki applications to run all edits through the anti-spam service. The service will analyze the modifications in light of the wiki page being modified. Because there is a very rich context (the wiki page being modified), the filter can be made to be highly accurate ... much more accurate than spam filters which are not operating under any context. As far as pricing, non-commercial wikis and blogs will not be charged (though they have to put a link giving credit), while commercial sites will be charged monthly based on the number of bytes put through the filter.

I thought of this idea when I was...

.. wondering whether to make a wiki public, worried it would be spammed.
