The Idea

Hi ....
This is my first post.I have an idea of virtual office.

The current virtual office is simply a freelance website.Works are posted on the site and the members
will bid for the project and the best bidder will get the project. The main drawback of this system is that
if the work is not done by the bidder website do not take any responsibility.simply the client had to suffer
I have an idea to solve this problem
one real office should control all the works. No bidding all works are taken by the real office
and they will give the work to members according to their rank.If the members not done the work in time
the real office will take care of it.This the client will get the work completed in time.....

I thought of this idea when I was...

What you're describing is a contract programming shop. There are many, many many already in existence. Pretty much every web/software service company in existence works on exactly this model.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
Thanks Micco.

Point me in that direction! I've contracted enough high ranking developers through Rent-a-Coder that I no longer believe in outsourcing.

I myself used to do work on rent a coder but I found myself as a developer inundated with requests to essentially make spam bots and screen scrapers for automated gambling.

A lot of the contract programming shops are located outside of the US, so you wouldn't be escaping outsourcing. In fact in a general sense, anything that you pay a contractor for instead of hiring an employee is outsourcing. I have heard the term "offshoring" used to distinguish between say going to a software processional across town and contracting to a shop many time zones away.

My experiences in the corporate world dealing with "offshoring" has been a disaster. I'm not sure if it's a language barrier or the old American adage that you "Get What You Pay For." (How that works with market inflation is something I don't quite understand.)

I would rather see a new model emerge where coders look for work that they actually enjoy doing, and would want to profit off the idea by simply developing the product. Sounds more like crowdsourcing to me. Who knows, maybe this idea is the answer!
