Hello!

You've landed in the archive of the Cambrian House community. We've kept some pages here for posterity but the community is no longer active. Now we market the technology that made our early crowdsourcing a success.

Can we help you get to Cambrian House the company? – Come on over.

Cambrian House

Crowdsourcing gives me that opportunity to support my diversity of interests. It keeps me alive with new challenges and interesting projects. Can't get much better than that can you? Oh yeah, and what's my risk? Time. I personally call it play time.
John Lynn, Feb 2007

Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

Looking to harness the power of your crowd? Find out about Chaordix™ - technology that enables enterprises to get the most out of crowdsourcing.

The Elevator Pitch

For Lovers and loving people who want to say "I love you" using the mylove online service which is a ultimate online tool that helps to do this public or private, with text and rich media. Unlike myspace, friendsters or myspace our product is specialized on "I love you messaging" and offers perfect gift for the message..

The Idea

Ever wanted to tell someone you love her/him/it?
myLove is a website on which you can leave your "I love you" message to your loved one (privately or public). Create a cool "I love you message" with text and graphics or even a video-message and send it to the loved one. If you want you can also attach nice gifts like flowers... to your message.Heart

I thought of this idea when I was...

Telling beloved ones that you love them in a unusual way makes the world a better place. As the Beatles sang: All you need is love...
If you want you can also attach nice gifts like flowers... to your message.

this is a good idea, especially when it can be done totally anonimous...

Sure. Like a super-simple pages.google.com framework, but with i-love-you templates?

Coding that would be pretty easy, and it would just become a game of marketing and making sure the site had a strong viral component.

I think the biggest question is what is the crazy-easiest way to implement?

As Gordon says, the issue will be marketing - I don't think you'll find yourself alone in this market!

Combine it with the "Stalker website" idea and you've got one creepy, messed up website.

Of course, either on their own, could work out if partnered with greeting card companies or purveyors of explosives (I hope you know which one to put with which idea).

(marketing steps in) I don't think it will be that difficult if you create the new category and become the entry leader in said category.

If you try to market yourself as a member of a pre-existant category then you need to place yourself as 3rd or 4th and be happy there.

There are plenty of websites for creating and sending graphic cards, including animated ones.

In my opinion, the entire Cambrianhouse experience is made wothwhile by PeeJayEl's comments alone.

With regards to the idea: it's going to be about partnering and packaging. You'd have to take the risk first and put the effort into making it nice and purty, stirring up interest and then you could perhaps interest a card/flower/candy partner. Go for it!

MyLove.com is taken by MedTech USA. If you decide to make this a business we have loveyou.tv available.
