The Cambrian House Crew
I think web 2.0 and CH are the missing link for ordinary people to contribute meaningfully in the new ways of creating wealth in this so called new economy.Cycko, Feb 2007
Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

Like an Image or a Video you found surfing the web? But hate the 2 step process of downloading and then uploading it to sharing sites? What would be cool is a small widget either as an add on for firefox or the mac OS desktop, that you could "right click" on a graphic or video file on a website and automatically uploads it to a photo sharing site of your choice. This product could interface seamlessly with sites like flickr, photobucket, youtube, imagehost etc.
I hate having to first download an image/video to my desktop then upload it to the photo sharing or video sharing site. It takes time in both downloading and uploading, as well it clutters up my desktop with images. This is important to me as I have to manage 3-5 blogs and forums at any one time and I do not want to waste my time sorting out the images on my desktop.
Should be quite easy to make. I'll look at something for Firefox sometime.
I like the idea but its already been done for photos at least https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1174/
and i think Flock does stuff like that too
also, if its for FF are you allowed to make extensions that you ahve to pay for? im just wondering
I just dont know why people would pay for it.
Yep, there are some out there, but its site specific. Photobucket has its own for example.
What I'm looking at is an add on to any browser, firefox or ie (firefox cos its extensions are great) or even a widget for an os, that works for ALL photo/video sharing sites.
Flickr for example is painful as you have to download everything and upload everything.
Some additional advantages this software can do are photo/video tagging for search engines, renaming of graphic files, emailing etc...
The point is it all can be done. But its piece meal and site specific. This program I am proposing automates it all into one simple "right-click".
What do you guys think?
im scare about copy right things
