The Idea

I don't know if there is one already but I thought of combining the idea of a networking site and massive online multiplayer gaming. People will sign up to become members and they can set up their profile pages, blog, photos, etc. Then there's a page where they can play Role Playing Games and other kinds and the stats from their games can be recorded in their profile page as well as their ranking and others. This will work like other networking sites where you can add and invite friends. Revenues for this site will be generated from ads from companies of different kinds of platform gaming and other advertisers. Basically this is another networking site with the added allure of massive online multiplayer gaming feature. Millions and millions of people are playing all the time on online gaming. Different kinds of games for multiplaying can be incorporated in this site to attract more different kinds of people. This site can have the pitch of "changing the world" by unifying people thru gaming. Games will be nonviolent in all different kinds of genre like role playing games.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I thought of this idea by combining two already existing ideas, a networking site like MySpace and the wildly popular massive online gaming sites.

Yup nice idea. Actually doing this on my game as well. Browser based multiplayer games are one large community.
