The Idea

(oops made a typo error Sick , its supposed to say) "Weekly food for the mind and heart"

I was thinking of a website that gives a new quote/bible verse per week and lets people think about it and apply it. People that apply it can share their feelings on how it worked for them, how they feel, experiences or whats its done. I think it will really change peoples lives and help them see what others don't normally see. They just have to be willing to apply them. The quotes/bible verses should be short, to the point but very efficient so people don't have to spend a long time reading everything. There will be an extra field explaining it for people that want to go more in depth with the subject.

I thought of this idea when I was...

talking with my friend about all these bible verses and quotes that helped me out in life.

I like the idea and I'm all for persuading more people to read the Bible, but I see one major problem with it. There are LOTS of these sites out there, offering daily Bible notes and with forums for people to share their own insights. Have you checked some of these out and worked out how your site will be different?

This is a great idea for a facebook application. I've actually begun working on a facebook application that could work out really well with this idea. I love the link to a community site for discussion of the verse. However, you will have to be careful for those haters who will put denograting comments on the site too. PM me if you're interested in possibly working together on it.
