The Cambrian House Crew
Cambrianhouse has inspired me to become more professional and study a whole lot of new things, so now I am a lot more skilled and I think I may have landed a killer job at Electronic Arts, probably thanks to the mention of GwabsCory Ross
Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

How many of us can afford fancy lawyers or good legal advice? Not many! The Class Action Legal website would provide the everyday man and woman with the opportunity to get a fair day in court or indeed stay out of one. Users would search the website for a pending action of the same nature they are seeking help with. If there isn't one pending then they would create a new one inviting other users to join their case lot and share any costs. These case lots could just be searching for advise, contracts, procedure but could go all the way through to full Class Action legal representation. Firms of attorneys would bid for a case and offer their services. If the cost is too strong, the class of users could reject the bid and wait for more people to join the class. Attorneys could be attracted to offer contingency 'fee-less' services if there are a lot of people in a class. So even the attorneys will like this website:) Archives could be created for reference as to previous outcomes.
Enough of this imbalance in the fairness of the law .. make the law truly work for the real people not the Corporations or just the rich! It is time!
There is already a very popular Class action lawsuite site like this and they even send alerts an emails of class actions that interest you.

Thanks for your comment HereNow. I agree with your statement that there are Class action lawsuit sites out there but perhaps the name mislead your interpretation .. i am not suggesting the typical class action lawsuit website here.
What i am suggesting here is a much broader service with a different focus .. the focus being where people can SHARE the cost of legal fees for everyday stuff or indeed get it for free.
A website where the lawyers bid for cases, where consumers can negotiate from a collective strength, a website which would provide a reference library of material like contract templates, advises, legal rights, opinions etc. to empower the consumer etc.
Yes BIG class action lawsuits could emerge but the focus is more on making the law cost effective for our everyday needs.
'A lot of things in the world have already been done but there is a huge opportunity in doing some of them better .. An idea that has no competition could be an idea that has no merit' .. who knows:)
Reading the explanation from from Doymarn in the comment, I think it has potential. But I know very little about the law(s), I would love to read a comment from a law expert.
Oh, and to the people of Cambrian; Can i retract my 'thumbs up' for the 'its been done', because I now read the comment of Doymarn, and I want to turn it back into a 'neutral' thumb. I now only have the option to go to negative..
There are many universities that offer cheap or even free legal services from their law students and law clubs.

Is that like what you are suggesting?
kshex .. i am talking about a service much more comprehensive than the limited free or student advisory services you mention.
Also the types of services that you mention have limitations on who they will provide their services to based on geographical proximity and personal financial standing.
We want to facilitate a commercial service that doesn't place restrictions on who can seek advice and who can't.
