The Idea

A fun site where people can come in and post their secret thoughts about anything and everything and invite comment or debate .. anonymously! You know those secret thoughts we all have about somethings but we won't normally volunteer them in public because people might think we are crazy or just bad! .. but it would be really nice to see if other people have the same crazy thoughts or think the same way .. to know we are not really so crazy or bad .. or maybe we are! :) Apart from the obvious theraputic benefit of sharing and debating with others, Radio or TV hosts could be invited to use this forum for program content .. to buy content or to offer the contributors an invitation to appear on their programs to explore their wacky thoughts! Users can optionally leave some minimum contact details, which would be kept private to the administrators of the site, if they would like any follow up or would like to appear on a radio or TV show that is interested in exploring them.

I thought of this idea when I was...

Don't we all have some secret thoughts we would like to air and get other peoples opinion on? This site could also be a good repository for the seeds to grow stories that writers, film and TV producers could bid on to develop.

If people are posting anonymously how could radio or television networks buy the content?
Plus how would this make any money other than through ad space?

Thanks Kshex, people would post and seem to be anonymous but i specifically mention that people can leave their contact details on their posting profile. These details would remain private from the public.

If they receive a bid for their story or an interview etc. they can decide to accept the bid and agree to disclose to the bidder their contact details. This would be done by the website administrator on request.

Ad space is always a revenue option but i see revenue flowing through bids for the content or story development, interviews etc. Any person who posts on the site would agree to the terms and conditions to share revenues with the website on any bids and royalties that may flow from their content posted on the website.

The website would in fact act as their agent in the negotiation with any interested party and take an agents commission.

Content submitted would automatically contain copyright rights and priviledges which like Cambrian House would be assigned to the website on submission.

cucu .. yes you can do a blog and remain anonymous and unseen forever :)

One whacky thought expressed on a blog won't do much for anybody really but hundreds of thousands of secret thoughts and debates on them could reveal some interesting stuff .. and would be a great place for writers, media hosts, producers to find material and/or persons for media take up and product or show development.

This idea was to create a central forum of postings and feedback, to create market awareness for this one website that people would come to for expression, fun and interest .. to create a place where people's secret thoughts could be aired, viewed and debated and be SEEN and to provide an angle to make it commercial:)
