The Idea

Being a new dad and avid runner, I love the baby jogger (I use the Bob from REI). The thing is that your gait is compromised my having a hand on the jogger. Some report back pain from leaning forward, others have shoulder problems.
My idea is this: create a magnetic field between you and the baby jogger that keeps it at a fixed distance (withing reach, of course) so it stays with you hands-free. It would go around your waist (I assume) so when you turn, it stays right with you. I figure they run trains on magnetic fields that weight tons, so why not a jogger? My only question is how much would the device weight?

I thought of this idea when I was...

Jogging with my 6 month old baby.
