A new internet radio station. Instead of just playing musi 24/7 we have DJ's that people actually want to go online and listen. Play just about all kinds of music.
Nothing traditional, use skype-in to have people actually call in to due requests, run real contests.
Donate money to charities with each song played.
Run a on-demand service with music videos and songs.
I have already started this site. i just need funding and people to help make it grow.
Same comment as I posted on your other idea here.
Please go to http://www.VenCorps.com for funding.

^ You'll get an Alpha invite from CH soon. (I already had an account over there when I posted that comment.)
Are you thinking of local area radio, or internet radio? I'd love to see a local radio station survive that plays music independent of the mainstream/corporate music scene.
Well branded and distinctive I think this could be a small hit in web.
Do you have a business plan and proposed revenue model? If you're donating money to charity, where is the money coming from?
I'd like to echo Peirene's comments...where is the money coming from? Advertising? I think the target market is good, (lots of listeners) and the technology is definitely there...but what would prevent others from copying your idea and competing with you?
I don't see how this is then different from the ordinary radio mode. Especially if you know which DJ is on and what time he/she comes on air.
Got something to say?
