Hello!

You've landed in the archive of the Cambrian House community. We've kept some pages here for posterity but the community is no longer active. Now we market the technology that made our early crowdsourcing a success.

Can we help you get to Cambrian House the company? – Come on over.

The amount humans can achieve is directly proportional to the number of things we don't have to understand.
William McKnight, 3M

Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

The Elevator Pitch

For social network users who like to listen music. the battlemusic.com website is a music share website that allows people to share music. Unlike last.fm our product creates a competition application to fight against friends with music dislikes.

The Idea

Enter www.MusicBattle.com and after creating an acount, store a list of all the music you have ever liked from different internet music sources.
Find friends who have DIFFERENT music likings (use facebook?), and start a new fight request with a package of your music.

Your friend accepts the fight request and starts creating their own music package. Validate here that packages have same streaming time and all set. Battle begins!
Now, this is the interesting part... streaming music over the web for free will be just samples of 10 to 30 seconds. We have to deal with this part, giving the chance to create a no-demo package only for the fight, with a payment of course, but only for the page and only for your fights reducing costs.
Review the music on the fly by describing it while you hear it and tell your friend how much you hate his music. Music Providers will like this idea because people who doesn't really like their music will listen it, and, as it has happened to me, buy

I thought of this idea when I was...

Fighting against my friend on local network.
i have discovered some music groups i never heard before.

We have made reviews at the end and we have shared some old music too.

But the best is to make "ears bleed" of your foe!
