Mistakes will be made. But if a person is essentially right, the mistakes he or she makes are not as serious in the long run as the mistakes management will make if it undertakes to tell those in authority exactly how they must do their jobs.William McKnight, 3M
Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

For concerned parents who what the best education for their children the Flash Tutor service is a educational service that offers online web based educational tools. Unlike public schools our product gives parentsdetailed reports on their childrens progress in real time.
Children and parents need help during the early high school years. This system would feature Tutorials for some of the most challenging subjects (math, science) put together by qualified educators.Parents would opt into these programs for a fee and be enabled to follow their children"s progress through the system using a parents interface. Kids would not graduate through the program until they have improved in the areas they were weak in at the onset. Different levels could be set based on the age and skill level of the child.
Add on features could be enabling the parents to buy the child a gift through the system that is not delivered until the child achieve a certain level in the program. Also educators from around the world could submit curriculum for approval. Suitable programs could either be purchased from the teach or sold to the end users with a commission system.
I got this idea watching a friend struggle with his 13 year old girl in her first year of High school. Not only was the help provided by the school itself limited, finding and hiring a tutor proved to be difficult as well. Qualified tutors can be very expensive and if your child doesn"t respond to the help they are receiving it becomes money flushed down the toilet. Kids respond to computers and games. This system could charge a fraction of the price of a real tutor and prove a range of added value services.
Good idea --
Suggest it is combined with a similar idea posted here about online textbook learning or somesuch --
Or this is just strong enough on its own.
It matches what parents want and has a carrot for the student. Good Idea. Why not couple the reward with a Prezzle to the student when they reach goal levels?
Over in the UK the BBC has done this with their Bitesize revision resources. Its all centered around the UK education system, but would be useful to any high school student.

They have a lot of other educational stuff too.
