The Idea

I have always wanted to create my own cartoon strips , but never go around to learning how to draw cartoons. So It will be great if we have a software where I can drag and drop my favourite cartoon charcters , add text to create a comic strip. It would also be great if i could create cartoons of my family members and publish it on my blog! The application should have drag and drop components such as eye, body, face , etc. Also the most important part is I should be able to alter the eyes and other parts to make it look like my family members.

I thought of this idea when I was...

wanted to be creative, but lacked the skills of drawing cartoons.

If you elaborated on the idea some more to describe how this idea might make money, the next consideration would be toward the artists who create your favorite characters.

At least in the US, there are copyright laws specifically in place to prevent making money on other peoples' creative works.

It may be possible to solicit artists to include their characters in such a site, but what would be their motivation for doing so?

You may have an idea worth pursuing, but need to flesh it out a little more.

Just because it's been done, doesn't mean there's not a potentially profitable idea here. Just think of Google...there were tons of search engines on the market when Google launched. So why are they successful? They became the number one search engine by providing the most relevant, unbiased search results.

If you search ideas in this community - a handful of comic strip software ideas that have been submitted. Perhaps there is a market?
