Some people have talked about a bullet wound that found on a body, yet there was no bullet. What if all of our shots would make a bullet would, but not have a bullet in the would in the end? If we could cast a mold the size of a bullet and fill that mold with mercury; freeze it, and then put that into a gun, would it make it to the body before shattering? I probably will. Mercury is a liquid in normal state, but can be turn into a solid with very cool temperatures. An then will melt at a certain degree. Shoot that out of a gun in frozen state, the bullet goes into the targets body, starts to melt, gives the user mercury poison, and the bullet is nowhere to be found.
Sitting at my table, eating.
It is a nice idea, but what is the purpose? There would be a trace of mercury on the body so it wouldn't be a complete mystery to the coroner.
