You've landed in the archive of the Cambrian House community. We've kept some pages here for posterity but the community is no longer active. Now we market the technology that made our early crowdsourcing a success.

Can we help you get to Cambrian House the company? – Come on over.

The Idea

A wiki that bascially organizes business ideas/concepts/articles etc. into a central repository. Basically it would be a site for entrepreneurs where members post articles/blog posts/book excerpts, etc. in their respective areas. I.E. Raising capital, product development, hiring, corporate culture, cashflow, sales, marketing, etc.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I read all of these books, articles, blogs, etc. where valuable information is scattered all over the place never to be organized and found again.

Wouldnt it be nice if I could just go to the raising capital section and see every valuable text on raising capital ever created...?!?

How does this make money? It's a good idea that could be rolled out really quickly, but like Wikpedia it's going to have problems making money.

Even if you had a model of this that could make money, the context for every business enterprise means that "valuable text" means nothing without the context in which it was previously found valuable.

And different countries have different economic models, and resources available. What works in one place could be a total disaster somewhere else.

Plan your business. Get good advice. Use google. Read books.
Context is all important.
