Can we help you get to Cambrian House the company? – Come on over.

Cambrian House

The very premise of the site causes it to attract a community made up of smart creative people with very few trolls. The signal-to-noise ratio is extremely high on this site, and that's no small feat on the internet today

The Elevator Pitch

For BlackBerry users who need stock quote information the suggested product is a webpage that allows them to check stock quote info. Unlike other products that require you download the software first our product does not require any third party applications to be installed.

The Idea

Create a website [a] that offers stock quote information for mobile devices (BlackBerry, palm e.t.c)

I thought of this idea when I was...

right now in order to get stock information, you have to download a third party application on your blackberry or mobile device.

if we create a wml page [a] that offers the stock information to the client right there, this would save the user from download third party applications on their website

revenue can be generated via adversiting (small banner) of that wml page

There a few mobile solutions that work in this manner (Stockcharts.com & Yahoo finance) but I've always found them klunky and hard to navigate with mobile devices.

I'd love to simply have a single page of stock charts for the tickers I'm interested in.

I use Mobile Chart: http://www.optimaltrader.net/mobile.htm

About 40kb download by wml...I prefer downloading an application than to visit wml pages...
