The Idea

Put all the aspects of web use, design and related information in one location. Users can search the existing entries or submit a live information request for a fee. The live information request would function like Live Help. Users can contribute and everything can be reviewed and rated. (i.e was this helpfull? did it answer your quest? etc...) Everything in the site would be tag based. Ever wanted to know how something was done online? ie. how do you insert a wmv into a webpage? To find the answer you'd goto this site and search, finding all the info you need on how to do insert (embed) a wmv into a page (html). users could click the text "wmv" and see a list of all info on "wmv" for example 1- what is a wmv 2- how to view a wmv file 3- how to encode a wmv file 4- embedding a wmv into a webpage 5- decoding a wmv file etc...

I thought of this idea when I was...

There is currently no all encompassing how-to website for "everything web".

Google works perfectly for this. I searched for "insert (embed) a wmv into a page (html)" and found results instantly.

Perhaps my favorite site for the mysteries of web content is http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

This guy is so pro and has been around for forever.

Anything else he doesn't cover is covered by a google search, which usually lands me on experts-exhange or a similar site
