The Idea

Is to have a web page with links to all major poker sites, with news no up and coming tournaments, cash games, freerolls etc. As of right now it is pretty hard to find good poker sites except from the few big ones. Party, Full tilt and 888. The only way I find out about other sites is through word of mouth as using a search engine often comes up a blank (try it). Each poker site could pay a fee to register and we could rake a % of all money gambled if a customer registers with a poker site through the link on the page and wouldn't it be great if a customer registered with us they could play all poker sites with only the one registration. This would be a great advantage to both customer and poker site as they would play more sites and spend more money. Registering often puts me off joining a site epically when im only interested in joining because of the special tournament they a running. This site would eliminate that and may encourage repeat business. Please read inspiration.

I thought of this idea when I was...

trying to register for the WSOP and only finding one site that was. . I would sit watching poker on the TV hearing the commentators saying " internet qualifier" over and over again all I kept thinking was how the hell did they qualify. Everyone wants to play in the big tournaments and this site would maximize your chances and people would re-visit all the time to find out about the next big tournament

Sorry, but i don't see this as really much of an opportunity and you could do most of what you suggest by creating a blog with affilate linkage to earn your revenues and/or you could create one of those 'top list' type of websites for which there are thousands of templates available to do that.

Blog hosting is free and you can sign up as a marketing affiliate on most gambling sites.

If you think you will be able to provide one paid for membership subscription site for players to come to and enable entry to the other gambling sites out there then good luck trying. Send a few emails or make a few calls and see what type or replies you are likely to get.

You don't need a team or business for this, you can start this on a zero cost basis yourself and build your blog or top list and see how you go.
