The Elevator Pitch

For Employees of a company who want to publish the Release Date on "MyReleaseDate" is a different site whihc is beneficial for both the Future Employers as well as employees that Employee need not just find job, but the job finds the employee. Unlike other job portals our product will find employees,.

The Idea

Are yo not bored or frustated by just finding jobs.. Let the job find you....
"MyReleaseDate" Publish the date you will be free....
Say for instance i am leaving the job, and may be or may be not i have joined another job, but in "MyReleaseDate" i have mentioned my release date as well the skills owned....

So Employers can browse through the profiles of the candidates instead of Employee looking out for the jobs...

So this idea works in the opposite manner... Managers looking out for the employees... sounds gud!!!

I thought of this idea when I was...

My inspiration source was Mr. Pete how had posted the idea for the centralize Release date site.
Thanks Pete..
Keep rocking@!@

This will make money through advertisements....
And not every jobsite does have this feature.. may be some has, butthe best part about this site is that the job seeker will not have to come again and again to search for the jobs... infact the employers or the placement agencies will come...

And what all the job sites has the list of compnies aor may be the new openings....
But on this site the list of the Candidates would b there, according to the sector they work in, according to the experience and a lots of stuff ...
So when a company logs in to search for a candidate it will have the complete list of candidates wih their last date of working in that company.

And i dont think that any site provide a space in which a candidate can put in what is the last date of his current job.

Cheers!!!!

if i am an employer i would probably check those who are currently active on his job to pirate him or ask a job hunter agent to check profile i need to fit on my requirements..instead of browsing someone about to go. (its lessen the candidate weight if he is about to go dude). Also, if your still inside that company your employer will have the probability to received inquiry of your next employer which likely can jeopardize your chances.

Ya you would definately look and pirate the exsisting one, but what if that person is not saleable, and on this site you get to know his release date. And not always we look forward for the currently active so that we can pirate. We might found someone better with more skills if we look around.

And release dates are only final after the resignation is accepted so in this case it cant jeopardize the chances...

Saigon brings up good points. I would mostly be scared to use this because then my current eomployer would know (I hope CH isn't reading this right now.... JUST kidding)

All I see is a job site with disclosure of your available date.

Most people I know who have published an available date more than a couple of weeks in the future have found themselves "available" early.

You don't see the other side of it, but every job portal on earth allows employers to search for employees.

I think the online job search market from both angles is pretty covered up right now.

Monster.com would dominate your user market.

sounds great it needs to have a better interface than monster and you would easily scoop up the market share you need to offer something to other job site can't perhaps personality quizes?

What if you coordinate zip code data with available employers and the release date?

deez
deez Posted: July 29, 2007, 11:32 pm

Ya definately, the interfase has to be something new .. and should catch.
Its just a one shot game.. if suceeded then u r the market leader, else...

And thanks Mr, Greg, nice idea.. we can co-ordinate zip code data..
And even though the job market is quite coverd up, but still if something new comes up it will create a difference, And rightly said, agenceys go to the candidates most of the times.

And the best part of this site would b that there would not b any old data as in when the employer searches, he can sort out the candidates on the basis of the releasedate.

I like the idea of having companies seek out employees that will be coming on the market soon. However, as others mentioned, I would be afraid to post on the site.

Plus from an employers perspective, I am not sure I would want to seek out employees that are being sneaky and trying to sneak out of their current company.

Perhaps another take on the idea might be to have a site that has people who are looking to relocate to a new geo. It is hard to move if you don't already have a job lined up.
