For people on the internet who who are joining many websites the 'Join Up' is a website that help them subcribe. Unlike subcribing manual to websites our product automaticly subcribe you to all the websites of your intrest.
A website on wich you check your intrests when you subscribe yourself to it.
After you finished your subcribing the website automaticly subcribe you to all the websites (in the database) wich match your intrests.
So you don't have to subcribe yourself manually to all those sites.
On the 'Join Up'-website you can also see on wich website you have updates.

subcribing to another website...
Help me to make this idea better: comment!
...and what about the flooding of all updates form this websites et al? GOd am still regreting on my yahoo HS batch group....
That's a good point; I'll think of a solution... (if there is one...)
what is your market?
... would it be better to have the list of websites as menu in thing in "JE" to check what you wanted and preferences(ugh)?...just a 50 per page in my Reliefweb listing kills me... and those dating sites and ohh pornsites? gee i need my catheter now...
...seriously, maybe there is a better.
Goodluck!

I have a solution for your problem. My business is a web 2.0 user generated content service.
Where you as a user will be able to aggregate different social networks etc of your choice we call these Personal Internet Assets. (PIA) a pia can also be your blog , podcast or even video...
What you do is you post whatever pias you have and you can share thse to the world if you like..
In that way people know what kind of pias you have..
we are still in stealth mode.. but make sure to sign up. you will like it if you wanna do this. this is to much of a hassle..
I am not sure how effective this system can be? Not sure will user paid for this service.
I think this has potential, but I would narrow it.
Probably no one wants to join everything, even in their interest areas. Instead, maybe you could give them a menu of check boxes.
And I would change the name, maybe to:
Join Up
Easy Membership
Membership Master
I think that Maureen has a good point. Perhaps they join multiple sites at once to get to similar content or accomplish similar goals.
Like a user wants, I don't know - recipes or something. Maybe they could join a bunch of recipe sites at once. I think it would work better if the site aggregated (at least samples of) content that the sites offered. That way it would be easier to make a value judgement about signing up.
I just dont see a market for this
I wouldn't like to join a whole bunch of networks at once.. this give me an idea.... *grin* :)
Another problem, I think, is with the sign-up page of many sites which have "are you human?" questions... how would you solve that?
Perhaps if the users could sample a few of these services before signing up. Or the service could suggest services and social networking sites based on a short survey? Maybe the site itself could become a portal or dashboard to a group of selected services like Google Reader for social networks or something?
Just a few thoughts off the top of my head.
I've see ideas to aggregate passwords, but not one that goes out and signs up for you automatically. Not sure if I'd use it, but it is a neat idea.
Sounds good. Indeed, checkboxes instead of signing in for all sites.
But how do you deal with all the anti-auto-signup-systems of these days?
That's a very good point Robintje...
Unfortunaly I don't know... =(
There's already a site out there that aggregates sites of similar interest together in one place. I don't remember the name. The point of the site is not to register/sign up for the sites but go search the ones relating to a topic of your interest. I think this is a better solution.
Signing me up before I investigate sounds scary to me.
Got something to say?
