Crowdsourcing gives me that opportunity to support my diversity of interests. It keeps me alive with new challenges and interesting projects. Can't get much better than that can you? Oh yeah, and what's my risk? Time. I personally call it play time.

The Elevator Pitch

For Everyone who feels lost the PersonalMAPS is a map service that can help get real directions to places. Unlike Google maps and other map services our product is based on real people.

The Idea

People need directions, that's pretty obvious. So people use map services. But maps are displayed by machines, with machine intelligence...

My idea is that of a map service that is built by a community of users. When you need directions, the systems refers to a database of user generated content. A wiki map of sorts.

It could even be, eventually, a on-the-fly service, like chacha.com, but for asking directions. You could ask a real person, via messenger, a person that actually lives in the area and KNOWS it, not a cold cold map.

Happy

I thought of this idea when I was...

Thinking of something that could be useful to me.
