How do you see "Register yourself by SMS at special registry (database)" in a practical sense?

vanhees, value added service providers does not need much to develop and can launch that kind of service quickly. If any one decides to develop that him self, PC with cell gateway is needed eke software which enables service.

There's some service whereby you can register a mask number to hide your real number. People receiving your sms or call wd see the fake number. They can also reach u by the fake number.

It is popular and targeted towards night life animals who want to exchange numbers with strangers.

Maybe this would work better if it was a more formally organised event at the clubs / pubs etc. The club is the one that firstly sets up the event using this service.

If the venue then gave out a URL that willing patrons load on their mobile phone and enter things such as age, likes, dislikes (all from simple select lists), once a certain time limit has been reached every person who entered would get a URL sms'ed that will show them a number and an image of a fruit.

The type of fruit you get would be based upon the information you entered. Everyone then has to get in a group and go around and compare images. Those with matching images then meet up and chat for 'x' minutes after which they enter the number of the other person on their phone, some ratings (submit them) and away they go for another round, until all matches are complete or they get bored and move on.

Then as per the myriad of other date sites out there, people get summary results of who rated them and who wants to follow-up. all communications can be done via the mobile website anonymously using their same reference number until someone chooses to progress to the next level.
