Cambrian House is a very interesting idea - crowdsourced software. Their goal is to leverage the wisdom of crowds to both receive as well as filter business ideas, code and creative content.Ken Yarmosh, Jul 2006

It's free! Like love in the sixties!
A site that connects the wardrobes of its members so that they can borrow clothes from one another according to the occasion. Members rate each other for reliability; items are rated for quality and condition they are found in. The site makes money by charging a small fee everytime you borrow something and by ads by clothes companies. You could even charge clothes companies for consumer feedback on their products. The site offers fast shipping services so borrowed clothes can arrive quickly at one's doorstep. You can upload your wardrobe by posting pictures of your dresses, shoes etc. And people literally search through your stuff by size number, colors, material, brand etc. There could be a stylist employed by the site, that makes combinations of items found in one or many wardrobes, so you can borrow 'sets' automatically without hassle There could even be an option for selling your entire wardrobe or individual items with the site holding a commission
Thinking about ideas ;)
i aint lending my clothes to no-one!
Haha...oh come on! :) You probably have done it by now anyway. Haven't you ever borrowed a piece of clothing from a good friend or relative? Well I have, and I'm sure others have too. And besides if you don't have the cash to buy BOTH that Armani and that Versace, wouldn't it be cool if a friend of similar size bought the Armani and you bought the Versace and traded with one another at different occasions? Oh, that's another idea! You could even *exchange* clothes! "I have one Gucci, who needs that Trussardi?"
Oh, and people who can't afford a large or expensive wardrobe would want to play the tit-for-tat wardrobe game just to be seen wearing different clothing every now and then without having to spend any money for it.
a.
This must be one of those ideas that has a strong gender bias ;)
I'm not saying that it wouldn't work but couldn't you do this over the phone?
