The Idea

Provide people with different molds so they can fill with snow and place their "snow sculptures" through out their yards or just for decoration elsewhere.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I was trying to figure out how to get kids to come and play in the snow instead of watching TV of video gaming all day long during winter. While I was shoveling the driveway, I had this “brain-blast.” It seems fun for the kids and profitable at the same time.

Maybe the silicon molds they use now in the kitchen can do the trick.
I like the idea, although it will be impossible to patent.

Thanks for the idea on the silicon molds! Why do you think it would be impossible to patent. I know it can be expensive. My idea is to have different shapes. Perhaps, different Christmas shapes for the holidays, and some football shapes for football season. What do you think!?

Been done they all ready make them.

Also, have you ever tried making a 10Ft+ tall snowman. You can make them quite big.

This idea is so good...even a caveman would buy it! Seriously...just pull the plug on the TV and challenge the kids to a snow ball fight....and after they cream you (of course you let them win) then you get them involved in building snow sculptures...or if you want to entice them with the Internet...check out Japan's snow sculpture competitions and see if they want to try and out do what they see.

This is quite a good and novel idea, congrats.

Easy rigid prefab. and preshaped plastic-moulds like those for sliding-boards that would make them very cheap and the equvialent to garden-gnomes for the winter. People like well-designed sculptures, and here you only need to pack the snow into the mould, seal it for a while, perhaps douse it with a little water and then place it. I can easily see this sold at Wal-marts etc.

If people like it, a number of additions could be sold also to upp the design of the sculptures. Kids love to decorate and make decorations. The girls could sow snowman-design clothes..shees, you could even make a site around it where people add suggestions and stuff for the snow-sculptures..

This has real potential in my view,
