The Idea

I would like to see built an online slideshow creator, with the option of purchasing the slideshow on a DVD. The user could upload the pictures they want in the slideshow, buy music for the slideshow, apply transitions, and choose the order of the pictures. The slideshow could be published via a URL, and the user could also purchase the slideshow on a DVD, if they wanted. On the published slideshow, there could also be links for viewers of the online slideshow to purchase a DVD hardcopy. Different effects could be offered to manipulate the pictures as well.

I thought of this idea when I was...

My wife and I made a slideshow DVD in iDVD for our latest vacation, and we have ended up doing 3 other DVD's for other people who saw ours and wanted it done for their vacation, but didn't have a Mac.
