Food Chain Is Basically a game that is just a basic flash game where you start off as a animal at th bottom of the food chain (e.g.Caterpillear) then you eat grass, leaves etc and become a butterfly then a different animal and so on.
I thought of this idea when my mum wanted to save a little baby bird from crows.
How would the change happen?
You know what would be cool is if you could come up with a way to let kids participate in building the ecosystem by selecting the organisms that go into it.
You could have a big library of plants and animals to select from, and let them see what happens when you don't have all the necessary, compatible pieces.
I bet there are food chain / ecology games out there but no harm making another one.
Good suggestion for Earth Day, too ;-)
Would need quite a bit of design detail, but has quite a bit of potential for an educational game.
if you had "level of detail" able to be set for age groups, you could use it for pre-school right thru to high school age, and still make it interesting.
would get a lot more value if you could tie it in to a particular part of the school syllabus, and probably more potential for income.
Would this be sold on a disc or over the web? Or would you have to pay to use it or would it be free?
it'd be a free flash gam on miniclip or something
Check out Spore by the guy that built SimCity.
