The Idea

I registered this URL some time ago, intending to create a site where people could discuss potential solutions to the war in Iraq.

Content Approach

I don't want it to be a place that promotes breaking the country up, just a place to discuss solutions. I think it would be a great Web 2.0 site because there is so much passion around the subject. There is also enough talk about the situation in the media that there is always something to discuss.

$

I think there would be advertising dollars available for it from both election committees and Political Action Committees.

I thought of this idea when I was...

Seeing so many mentions in the media about Sunni vs. Shiite vs. Kurdish conflicts. I think there is a lot of passion around this topic and tremendous political implications. I've also run Google news alerts for some time on the keywords "break up Iraq" and get plenty of activity.

I fear breakupiraq.com sounds too much like you have already decided.

discussiraq.com has gone by the way. Time to put in an offer? :-)
