If I find 10,000 ways something won't work, I haven't failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is just one more step forward.

Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

The Idea

Ok, there are angel groups across North America. They want to band together to make an Angel Fund, basically a VC fund that does follow on investments for the best of the best Angel Deals. Up until now, the problem was that you had to many quotinvestorsquot to allow everyone a say. But using the c/h model, you could run the fund, by allowing Angels and others to submit idea, have the angels shareholders vote on the best, and go from there. you would give the angels a percentage of the fund, the same way c/h gives a percentage of the royalties...based on contributions (of capital, of time, etc.).

I thought of this idea when I was...

after hearing yet another angel group whine

Makes sense.. Would love to know if this is being worked on. We are presently developing a site similar to gobignetwork but what you are suggesting is very very interesting.
