The Idea
A database of local (or the nearest anyway) producer of food, art or other handiwork with search engine that helps producer and customers to find each other. This would promote the more efficient use of local resources instead of those provided by multinational corporations. Food would be fresh and inexpensive. Art and decorative furniture etc. would be genuinely original. And best of all this would boost local economies and create wealth to the community.
