The Idea

I have been a fan of Google"s free Spreadsheet and Writely. Also folks like Zoho.com have some good stuff that can be used by all. I was hoping to see if it someone came up with Accounting software (like MS Money or Quicken) but in the same free web-based format as Writely and Spreadsheet. Who doesn"t maintain accounts? Everybody does (including teenagers and housewives). I am not expecting the full functionality of MS Money or Quicken but a useful subset that is typically used by folks around the world. Also, if its multiligual then the value increases since more folks can use it around the world.

I thought of this idea when I was...

I felt the need for this when using Writely and Google Spreadsheets.

I've voted up this idea (despite mine being a competitor) because I think if all the ideas are in the top 20 it increases the chances of the idea being chosen.
