The Elevator Pitch

For Any music consumer who Doesnt need superstars to enjoy tunes the HomeBrewed ToneWorks is a Label of jimjimblund under B T P that Are just for fun at this stage. Unlike SONY BMG who never have fun our product Is humble and true!.

The Idea

To let all us who do music at home for fun be able to sell our tones without making albums etc but just a tune/dollar and at the site anyone can listen to perhaps 10sec before buying.Or if you are a big cheese maybe give away a tune and sell others OR if your just a loony idiot like me a platform TO GIVE it away if you like!

The last one isn't really a new idea. But i think this should be nice.
Who needs superstars? I mean really?!

mp3.com was founded on this model but was lured by the shiny pennies of the music industry, they still allow artists to distribute their music but it's the major label artists who get the main coverage these days.

There are sites out there that do this, for example Arkade and SoundClick - I know because my own tracks are hosted on those two. Unfortunately, I haven't found a site with this format that's actually what you'd call successful. If you can make one then great - sign me up! I think you'll have to work out WHY others haven't made it though, otherwise you'll just fall down the same traps. If I can help by commenting from an artist's perspective, let me know.
