The Idea

Build a web application that allows the user to play out a real life situation with someone before it actually happens.

Some examples:

1. The User is going for a job interview & would like someone in his field to role-play as an interviewer.

2. A User is going on his first date & would like someone to role-play his partner.

3. A User wants to talk to his over-weight daughter about his concerns about her weight & would like someone to play his daughter

The situations could be infinite, where a user wants to get a kind of rehersal before going through something he is not too sure about.

On the other side of the application would be role-players who would gain credibility in role-playing specific kinds of roles. There would be some rating system built wherein users could rate the role-players performance. At a later stages we could even think about some way in which a role-player is rewarded by the user for his role playing abilites.

I think the best application of this is for parents talking to their kids about drugs/social issues. There are a lot of government programs promoting this behaviour and I think it would be possible to get grant money.
