Cambrian House began as a crowdsourcing community using a wisdom of crowds based approach to discover new business and technology ideas. These pages are being kept online as a technology demo to showcase Chaordix™.

For anyone who is looking to meet people from different cultures the culture tool is a wiki style web site that help people better understand each other. Unlike eharmony and other dating sites our product takes into account the differences we all have to make a experience better when meeting outside are own culture.
Think of Wikipedia for dating.
The site would help men and women understand each others cultures. The structure would be based on country and culture witch could be cross referenced. The database would be constructed by the users.
A person would edit or create a profile on woman from country X and culture Y. They would write that these women like such and such things and not others. Is it proper to kiss them on a first date or not. Do you need to talk to the parents before you date. Etc. The database would include women and men, strait and guy life stills.
The database could also have suggestion on what to do and not to do when meeting people.
As a subsection of the site, dating tools would be integrated.
The income of the web site would be from traffic and sponsor.
Ways for men to understand women
culture based on country? hmm
but what about multi-cultural societies?
can you say ... already done that, like a million times?
there are so many dating sites...
This is not a dating site.
It's a way to learn about people and cultures.
Specially if you want to socialize with a different culture
sp why not name it Culture tool? or Culture exchange (Body fluids an option) =)
The idea is not bad although cultural differences especially in the old world can vary from village to village.
Besides that every person is unique.

I think this could be a good idea. You see this kind of info for tourists where you can see how things like body language or gestures are interpreted differently in different places. A site that tried to collect this kind of info in a broader way would be interesting. I don't see how you'd monetize it aside from advertising, and it would have to be really compelling content to support the gathering and editing of all that info in an ad-supported model.
Been done.

This is an interesting idea.
To expand your user base, I would suggest changing the emphasis from dating to the cultures themselves (though dating information could be included)
That's what I've done with the idea.
From date---> to culture.
Thanks guys and girls

I think an attractive website with an easy GUI would work for a site with user-generated content and ad revenue, like GoogleAds.
This seems to lend itself to a forum / bb type of thing with a moderator who provides summary articles and insights, directs some of the discussion.
Could have a pen-pal type of function like CH messaging, people could be friends or date or whatever, using the facilities of the site.
Just do it!
I like your suggestion Jill
Any web people out there?
Interesting in helping.
